A semi-famous stage actress Hester has never met. Before she can uncover the reason behind the bizarre invitation, the actress is discovered dead on the beach.

Suddenly, Hester is thrust into a real-life whodunit. To complicate matters, the handsome local police officer has an unfortunate effect on her ability to think clearly. Hester knows a killer is hiding in Crayfish Cove. If she can't crack the case, she might just be the next target on the guest list.
