Suzie Peace Pybus
Suzie lives on a little fruit and vegetable farm in southern Tasmania with her husband and springer spaniel, Pepper. She tries to help hubby grow things, but unfortunately is not blessed with green thumbs.
Instead, she is a voracious reader, writer, knitter, soapmaker and cook.
Suzie has written songs, poetry and playscripts both for humans and puppets. Now she writes fiction that explores social issues, particularly those impacting on the wellbeing of women and children.
Suzie's first novel, Child, won the Caleb (Omega Writers) award in 2022 for unpublished adult fiction. She is currently recrafting the story of one of the main characters into a novel - Paint the Walls Red - to be published in 2025.Â
